Tuesday November 6, 2001

THE giant Hardwarehouse stores at Glendale and Kotara are to become Bunnings warehouses by Christmas.

The changes follow the mid-August takeover of the Howard Smith's BBC hardware group by Bunnings' parent company Wesfarmers.

Victorian-based Bunnings Warehouses marketing manager Rodney Dennest said yesterday the Hunter's seven smaller BBC Hardware Stores were also being renamed as Bunnings stores. Advertising for Bunnings Warehouse and Hardware House would begin from this week.
